AMD together we advance_ Product Development Engineering Intern INTERNSHIP TERM: Jul - Dec 2025 WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: Support Product Development Engineers with statistical analysis to improve production yield. Collaborate with various teams (foundry, planning, OSATs, product test engineering) to understand the manufacturing process of AI chips. Collect and process data, interpret product testing results, identify issues, and drive solutions PROJECT OVERVIEW: Qualify as a product engineer and work independently on various tasks. Develop scripts or tools to enhance efficiency using automation or AI concept KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: You will assist Product Development Engineers in production statistical analysis for yield improvement. You will work with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues and enhance efficiency/cost. You will participate in product debugging and characterization to understand product specifications and optimize testing. You will develop scripts or tools to improve efficiency using automation or AI concepts. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR: Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate/Postgraduate program in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge/experience in the following technical skills (or related areas) is highly encouraged: Python scripting Solid understanding of transistors and computer basics Microsoft Office applications RELEVANT SKILLSETS: Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and writing in English Able to integrate well as a team player Capable of setting priorities and moving several tasks forward simultaneously ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Preferred Degree: BE/ME in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent #LI-EJ1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
