Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of the team’s products – the use-cases, the functionalities, and the components.
• Understand, follow, and participate in the team’s development processes, flows and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, product managers and teams to understand business requirements and to aid in designing test strategies.
• Participate in test planning. Under supervision of senior team member(s):
  • Identify and refine the quality gates and acceptance criteria of each product deliverable.
  • Design new test plans.
  • Refactor existing test plans as needed.
  • Participate in reviews of test plans.
• Develop and execute test cases. Under supervision of senior team member(s):
  • Develop test cases based on test plans.
  • Refactor test cases based on modified test plans.
  • Execute various kinds of tests, such as, but not limited to functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
  • Identify issues and defects, track and report them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Verify assigned defect fixes.
  • Ensure the compliance of product deliverables with quality standards and best practices.
• Ensure continuous evaluation and improvement of the team’s quality standards:
  • Participate in preservation of existing quality standards.
  • Continuously evaluate quality standards and raise points of improvements.
  • Explore other best practices/standards and nominate which are applicable to be adopted by the team.
  • Under supervision of senior team member(s), develop and implement new/additional, necessary quality guidelines on top of the existing quality standards of the team and its products.
• Assist team in issue investigation in any phase of development.
• Assist team in investigation of issues raised by customers, stakeholders and/or other teams.

Who You Are:

• 2025 Graduate with bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be academically complete before the onboarding date (July 2025).
• Internship experience as Software Quality Assurance Analyst or equivalent is required.
• No automation experience in internship is required but is an advantage.
• Good understanding of relational database design.
• Ability to manufacture and produce test data, as well as extract and analyze existing data in database. 
• Ability to translate high-level user requirements to well-defined test scenarios.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with the team, stakeholders and customers.
• Ability to work in an agile product development setting.
• Results-oriented – with proper balance of future considerations versus immediate targets.
• Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts.
• Ability to work with- or without supervision.
